Refund Policy
At Your House Plans, we aim to make the purchase process clear before payment is completed. Please review the selected house plan, package option and Plan Licence carefully before placing an order.
Digital Plan Packages
Digital Plan Packages are supplied electronically.
Once the purchased drawing files have been delivered or made available for download, refunds will generally not be offered for a change of mind.
A refund, replacement or correction may be considered where:
- the incorrect plan was supplied
- the purchased files cannot be accessed due to an error on our side
- the files supplied are materially different from the product purchased
- the digital drawing package contains a material defect
- a refund is otherwise required under applicable South African law
Customers should contact us as soon as possible if there is a problem with their order.
Site Specific Professionally Certified Plan Packages
Customers may request cancellation before site specific professional work has commenced.
Once site adjustment, drawing preparation or professional review has started, any refund will take into account the work already completed and any reasonable costs already incurred.
Where appropriate, the refundable balance will be calculated after deducting the value of professional services already performed.
Once the completed site specific drawing package has been professionally reviewed, certified and issued to the customer, refunds will generally not be available for a change of mind.
Incorrect or Incomplete Site Information
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete property information.
Additional work resulting from incorrect, incomplete or changed information may require an additional quotation and will not automatically qualify for a refund.
Duplicate or Incorrect Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same plan more than once, or select the incorrect package, contact us as soon as possible.
Where possible, we will assist before the digital files are delivered or professional work begins.
Additional Services
Engineering, land surveying, town planning, estate approvals, substantial redesign work and other specialist services are not included unless specifically stated.
Fees paid to third party consultants or service providers are subject to their own terms and may not be refundable.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights that a customer may have under applicable South African consumer law.
